Sangini Saheli is a women’s welfare initiative founded by Priyal Bhardwaj with a mission to empower, uplift, and connect women and children across India. Through collaboration with Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Sangini Saheli promotes financial independence, skills training, and confidence-building among women in underserved communities. This initiative fosters economic empowerment while addressing critical social issues such as education, health, and sanitation.

Empowering women across the country has always been the soul of Sangini Saheli’s work. Through our flagship Shakti Program, we initiate tailored projects that focus on issues like health, menstrual hygiene, education, livelihood, and safety. We work directly with women, identify the barriers they face, and support them in overcoming those hurdles with practical solutions.
Our interventions focus on menstrual health awareness, access to hygiene products, knowledge of legal rights, and hands-on vocational training. In a country where millions of women are still denied education and economic opportunity, we believe that equipping them with these resources transforms not just individual lives—but entire communities. We advocate for a change in mindset around the girl child, and strive to replace inequality with opportunity.
Shakti also promotes skill-building and entrepreneurship, with training programs and mentoring sessions designed to help women build income streams and exit poverty cycles. We provide access to credit, information, and networks, enabling them to become confident micro-entrepreneurs. Our ultimate goal: to erase gender bias and elevate every woman to her fullest potential.
Our women are not beneficiaries. They are builders—of homes, networks, and futures. And with every thread stitched, every product sold, every form signed—they remind us what grassroots leadership truly looks like.
Education is the foundation upon which self-worth, independence, and progress are built. At Sangini Saheli, we focus on bridging educational gaps in marginalized communities by offering literacy programs for women and children. Through small-group learning, we help them achieve basic education and personal growth.
Promoting health and hygiene is central to Sangini Saheli’s mission of ensuring dignity and well-being.
These initiatives not only improve quality of life but also empower women to lead healthier and more informed lives.
At the heart of Sangini Saheli are the dedicated efforts of Self-Help Groups, which form the backbone of this initiative. Together, they drive:
Sangini Saheli is a movement powered by women, for women. By supporting this initiative, you can help transform lives, break barriers, and create a future where women and children thrive. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger, and more equitable society.
Affordable Hygiene Products: SHGs produce and distribute eco-friendly, reusable sanitary pads and bioenzyme cleaning solutions, making sustainable hygiene accessible to all.
Hygiene Education: Workshops educate women about the importance of menstrual and personal hygiene, breaking taboos and encouraging open discussions.
As part of its commitment to women's health, Sangini Saheli organized a Free Breast Cancer Checkup and Awareness Camp at Dyal Singh College, Delhi. This initiative aimed to prevent the serious impact of breast cancer through early detection and education.
